MLB: San Diego Padres at Pittsburgh Pirates

9th August 2016

The Padres are 5-0 in their last five games following a loss, and 7-22 in their last 29 Tuesday games. San Diego is also 5-2 in Perdomo’s last seven road starts, and 3-10 in their last 13 road games.

As for the Pirates, they’re 42-15 in their last 57 against the National League West, and 5-2 in their last seven home games. Pittsburgh is also 14-6 in their last 20 games following an off day, and 3-7 in their last 10 against a right-handed starter.

I just do NOT see San Diego with enough offensive firepower to overcome the Pirates here, so I will take Pittsburgh.

Pick: Pirates -1 1/2
